The ISBS 2020 conference is committed to providing an excellent experience for student delegates with great benefits. We offer a reduced registration fee to all student members. Other things to consider:

Student Travel Grant

 

The ISBS Student Travel Grant financially supports the travel cost of students presenting their paper at the ISBS conference with up to 500€.

 

The requirements for application are:

 

  • ISBS Student Member in good standing - membership can be purchased during conference registration
  • At least one paper submitted for oral or poster presentation as first author
  • Intended participation at the ISBS Conference 2020 (to be confirmed by registration)

 

Application process: Applicant must provide all required personal information and travel cost via the STG application form.

 

Application form should be sent (including relevant evidence) to the VP of Conferences via email at vpconferences@isbs.org

Please note: accommodation cost will not be considered. Grants will be provided at the conference.

 

April 24, 2020: Deadline for STG applications

 

May 13, 2020: Notification of successful grants

 

Student Mentor Breakfast

 

The mentor breakfast will take place on Thursday July 23rd at the conference venue. You will sign up to the mentor programme during registration.

 

Student Night

 

The ISBS conference hosts a student night. This will take place on the Wednesday or Thursday - location to be confirmed. Any registered student can attend to socialize, eat, discuss biomechanics, and network.

 

Masters or Undergraduate Student?

 

If you are unable to attend the full conference there is the opportunity to register as a day delegate on Wednesday or Thursday to experience an international conference. This is an opportunity not to be missed.
